Swift Innovation
Overview of Aqua Global’s capabilities in delivering SWIFT-related innovations and support for SWIFT message types
Swift Case Management
Despite advancements in cross-border payments, exception and investigation (E&I) handling remains costly, opaque, and manually intensive. With 1–3% of Swift messages failing STP and average investigation resolution times at 8 days, the industry faces over $1.6 billion annually in operational drag.
Swift’s new Case Management will become mandatory by 2027, introducing a centralised model for structured exception processing via ISO 20022 messaging, APIs, or GUI.
Aqua Global empowers banks to automate their integration with Case Management, enhancing transparency, reducing costs, and accelerating resolution times.
Swift Essentials
Aquila leverages the power of Swift Essentials APIs to transform financial messaging for institutions seeking speed, accuracy, and compliance. As an accredited partner in the Swift Enabler Program, Aqua Global enables organisations to boost their Swift capabilities by seamlessly integrating Pre-Validation, gpi, and SwiftRef services.
This integration enhances compliance, data enrichment, validation, and reporting delivering a smarter, more connected experience for both institutions and their customers.
With Aquila, organisations gain real-time access to Swift services, enabling Straight Through Processing (STP), live payment tracking, automated payment screening, and efficient exception management. The platform also supports reconciliations and matching workflows, helping reduce operational risk while improving transaction transparency
Swift LAU
Swift LAU (Legal Authentication) adds an extra layer of security to messages processed via FTP by applying a digital signature that detects tampering. Aquila verifies the integrity of incoming and outgoing messages using HMAC-SHA-256 encryption, with symmetric keys shared between the back-office system and Swift Alliance Access. Messages with missing or invalid LAUs are automatically rejected, ensuring end-to-end message authenticity and protection.
